ACA Cheerleaders

Get ready to bring your spirit and energy to the next level with the Acadiana Christian Athletics Cheerleaders program! Our program is designed for junior high and high school students who are passionate about cheerleading and want to take their skills to new heights. We provide our cheerleaders with the tools they need to develop their technique, build their confidence, and create unforgettable performances that will have the crowd on their feet.

Need to know

Varsity registration is ONLY open from mid January through mid March. It’s closed until the following season.

Junior varsity registration is open from mid January till mid August.

We host many fundraisers and opportunities to raise funds and grow as a team and community. We unite all sports together and resemble a real high school community!

Spring Training is mandatory for all VARSITY cheerleaders. Cheer begins Spring training at end of March and continues till cheer camp. Camp is usually beginning of June!

JV has a cheer camp in the summer that is helpful to attend, but is NOT mandatory. Usually takes place end of June.

Varsity also attends two National events at the end of the season. 1. We attend the Home School National Football Tournament in Panama City, FL to cheer for the games. 2. We attend the Cheer Nationals to compete. *Cheer Camp and National Events are not included in initial registration fee. Ask a coach for more details.

What it takes

This sport is a full year commitment. Once you sign contracts, all fees are due by dates requested. Athletes are required to make all events and games.

There are few reasons for absences or missed events. We are off for holidays and spring break. Your athlete isn’t excused except for one of the following reasons…

1 Week vacation per year.

Sickness ( confirmed and notified by a parent )

Family emergency/death in the family.

Prior commitment with other ACA (only) sport.
